KAI 214 — Machine-Woven Area Rug in Cream & Gold
Bright. Refined. Made for everyday life.
The KAI 214 runs warm gold through a soft cream ground, a light, glowing combination that opens up a room and reads as a neutral from across the space. Precision machine-loomed in Türkiye from 100% polyester, with a sleek, uniform finish, a soft hand underfoot, and a cotton backing for stability on most floors.
Polyester is the quiet advantage here. It resists stains and fading, doesn't shed, and cleans up far more easily than natural fibers, which matters a lot on a pale rug. You get the light look without the usual anxiety about keeping it clean.
Four sizes, including a 2' x 8' runner for a hallway or galley kitchen and a 10' x 13' that anchors an open-plan living room with the full seating group on the rug.

Care & Cleaning
- Vacuum regularly to lift dust and grit. A beater bar on a low setting is fine, though suction only is gentlest on the pile.
- Blot spills promptly with a clean, dry white cloth. Work from the outside in and do not rub. Cream shows marks quickly, so speed matters here.
- For spot cleaning, use mild detergent mixed with cool water, blot gently, and rinse the area with a barely damp cloth. Allow to air dry fully.
- Polyester is naturally stain resistant, so most fresh spills lift with water alone if you get to them quickly.
- Avoid bleach and harsh solvents, and keep hot water and high-heat steam off the rug, since excessive heat can distort synthetic fibers.
- Rotate the rug every 6 to 12 months for even wear.
- Use a quality rug pad to reduce slipping and cushion the pile. (Optional only)
- For deep cleaning, a low-moisture professional clean is the safest route. Always dry thoroughly.
