Cleaning & Care Instructions

For your Beluga hand-tufted wool rug with cotton backing:

• Vacuum regularly on a low-suction setting using a suction-only attachment. Avoid rotating brushes and beater bars to protect the raised texture.
• Blot spills immediately with a clean, dry white cloth. Do not rub or scrub.
• For small spots, use a little wool-safe cleaner on a cloth, testing first in an inconspicuous area. Blot gently from the outside of the stain inward.
• Avoid soaking the rug or wetting its backing. Do not machine wash, steam clean, or use bleach or harsh chemicals.
• Allow damp areas to air-dry completely with good ventilation. Avoid direct heat.
• Rotate periodically for even wear and limit prolonged exposure to direct sunlight.
• Some shedding is normal for a new wool rug. Trim loose yarns carefully with scissors; never pull them.
• For deep cleaning or stubborn stains, use a professional cleaner experienced with hand-tufted wool rugs.
