KAI 218 — Round Machine-Woven Area Rug in Gold & Beige
Warm. Refined. Made for everyday life.
The KAI 218 works soft gold through a warm beige ground, a combination that adds glow to a room without committing it to a strong color. Precision machine-loomed in Türkiye from 100% polyester, it delivers a sleek, uniform finish with a soft hand underfoot, and a cotton backing keeps it steady on most floors.
Polyester is the quiet advantage here. It resists stains and fading, doesn't shed, and cleans up far more easily than natural fibers, which makes this a sensible pick for busy rooms, kids, and pets without giving up the look.
At 8' round, it's the shape that softens square rooms and boxy furniture, sized to sit under a circular dining table, anchor a reading nook, or fill an entry where a rectangle would feel stiff.
Why You'll Love It
- Gold and beige colorway — warm and light-catching alongside neutrals, wood, and brass
- Round silhouette — softens hard corners and breaks up boxy floor plans
- Stain and fade resistant — polyester holds its color and shrugs off everyday spills
- No shedding — unlike wool, it won't leave fibers behind
- Soft underfoot — a luxurious feel from finely woven high-quality yarns
- Cotton backing — adds stability and grip on most flooring

Care & Cleaning
- Vacuum regularly to lift dust and grit. A beater bar on a low setting is fine, though suction only is gentlest on the pile.
- Blot spills promptly with a clean, dry white cloth. Work from the outside in and do not rub.
- For spot cleaning, use mild detergent mixed with cool water, blot gently, and rinse the area with a barely damp cloth. Allow to air dry fully.
- Polyester is naturally stain resistant, so most fresh spills lift with water alone if you get to them quickly.
- Avoid bleach and harsh solvents, and keep hot water and high-heat steam off the rug, since excessive heat can distort synthetic fibers.
- Rotate the rug every 6 to 12 months for even wear.
- Use a quality rug pad to reduce slipping and cushion the pile. (Optional only)
- For deep cleaning, a low-moisture professional clean is the safest route. Always dry thoroughly.
